If you can show us that you’re fully vaccinated against Covid-19, it’s as simple as that!

You’re welcome to enter the theater without providing test results. You must bring a mask as well as proof of vaccination (physical or digital).

Planning on bringing younger kids who haven’t been vaccinated, or are you or a member of your party unable to be vaccinated? Easy peasy, dears!

We’ll need proof of a negative Covid-19 test, and we are unable to accept the results of at-home rapid tests. Not to worry, though — here are a few nearby testing locations that can give your family (and ours) some peace of mind! Just be sure you take these tests no more than six hours before showtime.

What safety protocols will be put in place?

Broadway is committed to the health and safety of all members of its community—theatre employees, production staff, cast members, and audience members. To ensure the safety of everyone in the theatre, the following policies will be in place for performances through February 28, 2022:
  • MASKS REQUIRED: All guests must wear a properly fitting mask over the nose and mouth in the theatre except when eating or drinking in designated areas.
  • VACCINATIONS REQUIRED FOR AGES 12+: All guests must be fully vaccinated to enter the theatre and must present digital or physical proof at the door.
  • VACCINATION REQUIRED FOR AGES 5-11 (performances through December 13, 2021): Children ages 5-11 must be vaccinated with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine OR present a negative test to attend a show. The following proof will be accepted:
    • At least one dose of an FDA or WHO authorized COVID-19 vaccine, received at least 14 days before the performance
    • A negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance
    • A negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance
  • VACCINATION REQUIRED FOR AGES 5-11 (performances starting December 14, 2021): Children ages 5-11 must be accompanied by an adult and must be vaccinated with at least one dose of an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine.
  • For international guests, TWO doses of any “mix and match” combination of an FDA- or WHO-approved Covid-19 vaccine are acceptable.
  • PHOTO ID: Guests age 18 and older must present a valid government-issued photo ID. Guests under 18 may also show a school photo ID.
  • Guests who do not comply with these policies will be denied entry or asked to leave the theatre.

What age is the show appropriate for?

We recommend 8 years or older.

What is the running time for the show?

The show runs approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes, including one 15-minute intermission

Where is the Sondheim Theatre located?

Is the Sondheim Theatre wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the theatre is wheelchair accessible. There are no steps into the theatre, and elevators are available to all levels.

How early should I arrive at the theatre?

Doors will open approximately 30 minutes prior to the show's start time.

Will merchandise and concession stands be open during a performance?

Check back soon for an update.

Will the cast greet fans at the stage door following a performance?

Sad news, dear. The lawyers tell me that something called "equity protocols" prohibit interactions between company members and audience members. That means no backstage visitors, autograph signings or cast meet-and-greets. Your applause will have to be enough, won't it?

Are rush tickets available?

Rush tickets are available on performance days exclusively via digital rush from TodayTix. Rush begins promptly at 9 a.m. and continues until available tickets for that day’s performance(s) are sold out. Rush tickets cost $35, and a maximum of four (4) tickets may be purchased by each customer, based on availability, sold on a first-come-first-served basis. In order to purchase tickets, customers must download the TodayTix mobile app (available here for iOS and here for Android).
